I am preparing to use 2 JL 12's W3 @4ohm. To power them I am going to use a RF 500a2 Punch series and for my component set(infinity) I will be using my old RF 45.2. Now my dilema is that I have the basic idea behind wiring these two amps together but I dont know about the size of the wires needed. Is it 8 gauge from the battery to the dist. block and 4 from the block to the amps?? I havent the slightest. Ive heard that bigger is better as far as wiring goes but who knows.

No you go 4 awg from the battery to the block and 8 awg from the block to the amp.
