everyone knows those fancy fused distro blocks that best buy sells ($50)..
well i got one dirt cheap, real close to brand new.

thing is. my system works just fine when the fuse is laying on the top, but once i press the fuse into the holder it doesn't work.
at first i just figured that the holder was too loose to make a good connection, so i squeezed the prongs together, and that worked, for a day.

i don't know what the crap is wrong w/ it!!! i know its not the fuse. i got a brand new fuse in... GRRR!!

Make sure the little screws that hold the prongs to the block are tight. Also, I would double check the fuse, might try another fuse and see if it stops. Just cause it's a new fuse dosn't mean it's good. Sometimes the solder that holds the element inside the glass to the end pieces comes loose and it could cause the problem you're describing.

yup, i recently had the same problem with a fuse.....the element looked fine, but it would keep shutting off.....try a different fuse....and make sure you have a good ground while you're at it.
