You wanted a question, so I had to rack my brain to think of one ea1. One of my friends has an Autotek SX-1700 amp(several actually)that doesn't want to come one sometimes when you turn it on. I mean when you give power to it it goes into protection mode and it takes several tries to get it to come on correctly. Do you know why it would do that? I have heard that some of the other autotek amps do this too.

I am not familiar with the autotek amps, but I have seen amps do this before.

Most of the times, it was either overvolt or undervoltage problems, or the DC resistance of the load might be on the verge of being to low for the amp.
