ok so i have been reading alot in here and have found a ton of useful information.. thanks for all that.. but i have a question that i cant find an answer to.. here it is. i have 2 ap-30001d amplifiers and 6 15" audiobahn tarantula t5-15's i have looked at many diagrams and things and am trying to figure out the best possible way to wire them up... im thinking that since these are 2ohm dvc subs and not 4ohm that the best way would be to run them in parellel at 1.34 ohms.. but i have also read that this amp is actually 2 1500 watt amps on the inside and is not stable at 1 ohm.. also on the outside of the amp there is 2 terminals.. if bridged it says 2ohm minimum.. each channel says 1ohm minimum,, so to actually run these at 1ohm it seems i would have to run them on a single channel? im thinking that would only give me the power of one amp which is 1500? am i right?.. also would it be ok to run them at 1.34ohm bridged where it says 2ohm min? and with it ran that way (bridged) is it still going to be 1.34ohm? i think i can run 4 at 1ohm and 2 at 2ohm.. this would give me like 750 to each of the 4 but then 1000 each to the 2... but that would still be running 4 at 1ohm which i have heard will send the amp into protect.. im not sure how they hooked it up when i bought it because i didnt know anything about any of this until my speakers kept blowing and i decided to do some research on my own.. anyways sorry for the huge explination but im just trying to give you guys the whole picture.. i have 2 boxes in the back of a denali running long ways front to back with 3 subs in each and the amps in the middle.. im going to end up changing the boxes and everything when i get the time and money but for now id just like to get what i have already sounding as good as possible with what ive got.. please please any help will be tremendously appreciated.. thanks.. Nick

yes that amp is 2 1500s in one case. so its either 3000kw at 2 ohm bridged or 2 x 1500w at 1 ohm. 1.34 ohm with impedence rise would be fine as long as u have the voltage im sure.

also i was told that if i wire them at 1.34 and hook them into the 2ohm slots then the impedence would put them over 2ohms.. would this be the best way to wire them in your opinions? or would you try to get them under 1ohm or lik .5 ohm or something? i really havent messed around with these enough to see what works best id just like to know a good place to start.. if they were yours what do you think youd wire them at?

k so now i got another problem.. i was told that if i bridged the amp where it says minimum 2ohm but i ran it at 1.34ohms.. couple people said with impedence it would be fine and prolly still be around 2ohms.. i also heard that running the amp at 1ohm will make it go into protect.. well i wired all my speakers up at 1.34 (3 per box per amp) and at volume at like 17 it goes into protection.. also found out that one channel is blown on one of my amps.. i can get this fixed by sending it in because its under warranty.. but the way i have it right now all speakers are at 1.34ohm and on one channel of each amp.. this means im pretty sure that im only getting 1500w rms to 3 1000w rms speakers.. so what i think i should do is run 2 speakers per channel at .5ohm.. is this right? or do you think the amp will go into protect at .5ohm on a 1ohm channel since it goes into protect at 1.34 on a 2ohm channel? i really dont know too much here.. anyone who has pretty good knowledge of this please just tell me what you would do and ill go outside right now and try it then tell you what happens.. im just looking for the best power and sound out of my speakers and amp.. i got 2 3000w rms amps to run 6 1000w rms speakers.. the power is there i guess i just fudged up by not checking to see what ohms and stuff i would need to wire at before i bought them.. PLEASE HELP ME!!

you cannot strap them together since they are strapped internally, the only way possible to do this is to wire them up to a maxxlink and do it from there.
i would not advise running it below a 2 ohm load, even with impedance rise. it is just not worth it, yes they are pretty strong amps but i would not recommend it at all. i own one of these amps by the way.
