Hello all, I recently tried wiring my 2 ohm Infinity 4" coaxial in series with my 2 ohm Infinity tweeter for my center channel. I want a 4 ohm load since it is operating in mono off the amp. Problem is the 4" coaxial totally loses all bottom and mid end when it is in series with the tweeter. Anyone know if there is a reason for this? Any solutions? Should I wire them in parallel and put a resistor in series with the positive lead? Any tips are appreciated!

Yes the tweeter has an inline external crossover. I did all my wiring before the crossover. How is the tweeter crossover effecting the coaxial?

easiest fix is to just buy an external 2 way crossover...or get an amp dedicated to just the center channel
