Here's a strange one. I have a customer that I installed an Alpine iva-d106 into a 2004 Infiniti g35. He did not want the screen in the factory spot with the metra kit. I did the install in the pocket at the top of the dash. To do so, I had to remove the body of the factory radio for clearance. After the install, the heater controls are not working. I can see they share a circuit board with the radio, but there is a separate plug for them. Anyone seen this before, and any ideas on how to fix it?

I tried to figure that out last night. I'm not sure. There is no ground wire in the harness from the controls, so that may be the problem. I will have the car and the factory radio today to check that out.
