Ok.......let me break it down a little better. He's right you don't subtract the nominal impedance.I think you misunderstood the original post.Ex...nominal impedance is .25,and your measurements caculate to 2.5 ohms.Your amp is seeing 2.5 ohms,so your rise is 2.25.You are only subtracting to see your actual impedance rise, not what impedance your amps are seeing.Hope that clears things up. thx alot bro i got it now

thanks for explaining that to them Mr.Sears. You only subtract if you want for comparison purposes between changes. when you divide voltage/amperage, that is what the amp is seeing.

and remember, not all of your subs are going to have the same rise, Ron. The one's closest to the port may have more rise since they probably have a little more cone movement. The bottom passenger corner sub may have the least rise, and the most backpressure. If you get enough power to fold a cone, it'll probably be that one

Ron, I assumed you were still running the same style wall you have pictured on your termpro page with the 4 memphis 15"s. and two soundstream6500 amps?
Do you have the amps strapped on all four? or two subs per amp? if 2 per amp...how are they paired? top subs together &bottom together? or passenger side together &port side together?

the best way MIGHT be the last one I mentioned, where they are in vertical pairs. Then just power match the amps, instead of gain matching.

yes, matching the actual reactive power. yes with the speakers connected, and by clamping to get the real-time power to each pair.
