I have an Alpine 7850 that shuts down momentarily, I'm talking like half a second max, whenever I change something like the bass level. It doesn't do it all the time, just randomly. Any idea on what it could be?

Maybe if I post this someone will see the lightbulb by the Troubleshooting link, click it, see my post, go into it, read it, think and then post a reply to help me...maybe.

Check the ground on your head unit . Sounds like a loose connection . Try applying pressure to the front of the cdplayer and see if its secure . If it moves at all , i would say soething came loose . Most likely the + or - lead .
