Hi all,
I am new on this forum, looking for help please, i am running 2 Audiobahn A5000SPL amps at 1ohm , 1 amp to 2 Audiobahn AWIS15P subs , X 2 ,Parrallel/Series/Parrallel
and i have 4 subs in total.
On the amps setting X over 1 amp is set to LPF and the other amp is on the .center setting , this is where the subs sound best???This is how its been set up from Audio shop.
I have copied to paper the way they are connected, 1 pair is connected as the Audiobahn tech help wireing diagram of the Immortals and the othe pair is a little diffrent the + comes in on +1/+2 and linkes the the othr sub +1/+2, the - comming in on -3/-4 and linking to the othe sub -3/-4, with link lead on each sub +3/+4 to -1/-2. If you want me to email you diagram i have made just ask.
Any help much apprecated [Smile] ps on a term lad test the system hit 147db , i thought it would be higher?

I had 4 of those amps, how many batteries do you have?
Also, Audiobahn subs aren't the greatest.
Set the LPF to 80 on both amps.

So is 147db with 2 a5000spls and 4 immortal 15" suds on 2 optima batterys low/high for this? or what should i expect, but take into mind its not a spl machine as the subs are reversrd a** out and the box is ported. 147 was kit new out of box ,will it go up/down as the system gets more use?
Thanks for all of your post on my question.

with four 15"s and "10kW" I'd expect a lot higher score.

WAY short on batteries for that kind of power. and the equipment is nothing i would ever mess with. I'm sure for the money you could have gotten equipment that would be much louder

depends which immortals he has.

The older ones were basically DD 9015s, were pretty sick woofers. A guy had 4 walled behind the rear seat of his suburban here on 4 crossfire 2000ds, was SICK as a daily.

The new ones look like trash though

No, i got the new immortals, i was told the old ones were prone to blow, and the problem had been sorted by the new ones and power handling is more on them, i now they look better but thats all realy! i have the subs ass out in custom box, were built to audiobahn spec of one of the guys at audiobahn US [Wink] .

I don't care what anyone said. Those amps were very powerful back in the day and still are. Just a pain in the ass getting them in and out and finding places to put them.

back in 04/05, 162.7 with atomic apx and 16 8v batts, 1 300 amp alternator. 8V batts were 5 years old and I supposed a 163-163.5 was possible with those subs, probably a peak of 164 with some better subs.

As for LPF, why not just do pass through and have an xover ran to them all, that way you don't have to worry about what each is set at? I never used lpf, or if there was lpf it would be as high as I can put it.

Thanks for that jarfunkz!

I have a eq with sub out and sub level on it, will that do the job for the 2 a5000spls i have without worring about each amp set up?
So i managed a 147db with 2 12v batts, do you think 147 is good or bad for this.
Help much apprecated.
