I was wondering if anyone knew why does the lanzar sl800d advertised as a mono-channel amp, and it has two speaker connects. I am trying to get DVC 4 Ohm subs to 1 ohm, and need to figure out what to do with the terminals, for example, hook one speaker to each terminal, or hook them both to one terminal. Help would be very appreciated. Thanks!

the amp probably parallels the connections internally.
parallel the two voicecoils on each sub, then run each sub to a set of terminals on the amp. it'll do the last parallel for you just inside the chassis. That way, you don't have to use distribution blocks and risk adding resistance again.

Okay, 1 last question ... for the RCA inputs, my stereo only has 1 subwoofer output. I don't want to use the other two because they are for front/rear fading. Should I buy some y cables because this amp has 4 inputs.Or should I hook it into 1 and 3...Thanks! again, amp is Lanzar optidrive SL800D
