i recently picked up a 2002 ram 1500, My problem is after i put in the dvd deck none of the power accesories work when the key is off, this includes dome lights, power locks etc. When the key is on or engine is started all of them work again. Now the harness I got was a pos. The Yellow power didn't work so i had to run a wire strait to the battery, also the rear right speaker wires dont work either. Does anyone know how to correct this problem

If I am not mistaken, there are 2 different boxes, one under the drivers dash by the kick. The other under the hood by the battery. The possible bad fuses will usually be it the box inside the vehicle in the kick. The owners manual will tell you the fuses. Personally, I would check the fuses with a tester, or by hand if you don't have the proper test equipment. I know that a lot of shops will look at it for you for a small fee (we charge $5 + $.50 for each mini or ATC fuse). Hope this helps.

got it all figured. Nothing to do with the fuses really. The harness was just shot, got a new one and everything worked
