Ok for anyone that has seen my name for awhile I have been talking about how I am getting my system but it isnt installed yet, well it is finally installed, it took forever because of shipping problems, amps not being available, stupid a$$ installer telling me he can get it done when he cant, etc... you get the point. Anyway, a guy here that has installed systems without any trouble that I have heard of caused over 104 dollars worth of damage to my Acura, didnt make the box right, didnt finish the box, wired with a different gauge wire than I asked for, fukked up everything basically. So I go out of town for my sisters graduation and find a shop that knows what the heck they are doing, they spend some time fixing the other guys mistakes and I walk out with a system that works. First I am playing loud bass sndtrks because I've never had a subwoofer before, but then I start listening to classical music with the engine on and as the revs go up my tweeters play the same note and rise in pitch as the engine revs do. Needless to say I am really upset, I had to drive home 8 hours with engine noise, (by the way could this have hurt my dynaudio tweets?) it was sunday, the place that finished it up was closed and it wasnt their fault, they only put the h/u in, put tweeter pods in, and mount my power wire from my battery somewhere else. phew, ok sorry for the long post, but here is my question what can I do? I have Stinger Dream Series RCA's, stinger wire throughout, ADS amp, Dynaudio comps, 12" Alchemy and a sony C90. if I get a XDP-4000X or XDP-210EQ and run the digital optical cable from my h/u I am thinking that will get rid of the noise, but while I am waiting, (possibly forever) to get one of these DSP's is their something I can do? please help me out if you can this noise is driving me insane!

wow.. nice equipment. ok anyway.. there is a bad ground somewhere. check to make sure the ground is bare sanded metal on the amp and check the head unit ground too. the best thing to do is use a single ground connection for all your car audio components. hope that helps.

Well, I'm moving this to trouble shooting, but like Orb said, you might want to check your ground wire, and make sure it is a clean connection. I know I went throught 3 alternators on my old car, because of a bad ground.
