I recently did an install on a 07 Lexus ES 350. He wanted to keep his factory HU, so I ran a line converter off of the rear outputs. The problem is, when the bluetooth call is activated, the person on the other line is barely audible. I was told by a tech that is only comes from the drivers side dash speaker, so I left that hooked up to the factory hu. Has anybody had any experience with this?

You ran a line converter off of the rear outputs to what? Is it a Parrot piece or something that your supposed to be running speaker level into, and then back out of, to the speaker? So when the bluetooth picks up, it interupts the signal that was there, and pipes its own in?
Post as much info as you can and I'll try to help you sort through it

Thanks for the response. I figured it out. I needed to run the converter off of the front outputs of the hu versus the rear. All the audio for the bluetooth comes through the driver door speaker, so now when it interrupts it plays through the whole stereo.
Was that confusing enough?

Factory integration has become a pain hasn't it? If only the OEM includes just one set of preamp outputs...and I'm sure it's not hard at all...things can be a lot less complicated.

thanks for posting that! I think as new cars come down the road, we will all have a blonde moment, even with a parrot, how can we all be sure that what WE do is perfect, all i am saying is thanks!!I learned something new..as I always tap the "REAR" if you know what I mean. Less distortion and complaining, that sort of thing..laugh if you want, thankd for the news..later

that last post was off,,, with the Parrot, you have to intercect only the front spk's, and there are a lot of after maket plugs that will help with time as well as installation, make more money in less time! If you respond to this post...How do you post your avater or member status?, later.Nate
