whats up people Im kinda in a bind. I just had my Autotek 3000.1 repaired, and got it installed running a 4 ohm mono load on my Diamond D9 15" D2. Pulling out of the shop, i turned the head unit on turn the volume a lil bit and sparks were coming out of the amp and white smoke. Everything was hooked up right, brand new optima yellow top. WTF happened, I contacted the repair site and told of my tragedy. They have a 90 warranty on there repairs so they should repair my amp or give a refund if its non repairable right. Any Suggestions are greatly appreciated.

yea looks like a couple of the mosfets are tosted along each rail, but that all i can see. Do you have any idea what could cause an amp to smoke like that.

Dude, double check the ohm load on that sub. Make sure to move the cone up or down to verify that the coil isn't shorting on the pole-piece.
