ok guys i bought my mom a jensen 6 disc changer and every now and then radio stations and other nois comes threw while the disc is playing i took it back and got a rampage audiovoxits been a couple months and now this one is doing the same thing can any one help/ is it the modgulater?

im looking and all i see is a radio station switch 88.9/87.1 could this be in side? these are not very expensive units so im just double checking

In that case, try the other frequency. If the city your in has a station on one of the provided frequencies, then you'll have to switch. If there is one on BOTH, you need to choose the weaker station. If all else fails, get a antenna booster and connect it directly to the radio, then the changer modulator to the booster. Never had to do this, but I think it might work. It'll prolly induce a ton of noise too though...

A friend of mine had the same exact problem he asked me to try to fix . When i inspected his install , i noticed the changers power and data link cable were ran down the vehicle right next to each other . I rerouted the wires so the power went down one side and the changers signal cable was away from the power wires . As soon as i did this , fixed all his problems . I asked to see his instal manual and it stated that if you run the wires together it will cause the unit to malfunction , that includes the antenna wire.
