i have a pioneer premier DEH-p680 cd player.. i have read in the alst two threads below me about the wire around the rcas then ground it..but my sub still picks up the alternator. i can feel it picking it up when the volume is all the way down. i dont know how i blew it but can someone steer me in the right direction on how to fix an easy problem like this?

Pioneer decks have had this problem for a while. But, the cause is bad grounding on the amp alot of times that leads to the intermittent short on the negative of the rca outputs. Use a short piece of wire and ground the outside of your rca to the chassis of the radio . .noise go away or is it helped? Next, where are your grounds for your radio and what kind of car is it? What ground do you have for the amp? If any of your grounds are weak and seek grounding thru the radios rcas .. you will continue to have this problem.
