i have a 2000 z71 tahoe (old body) and when i installed the head unit... premier 780 mp... i lost the use of the 2 speaker in the back doors. the truck has 2 speakers in the front doors, 2 in the rear doors, and 2 in the very back. is there a harness or the like that i can use to regain the use of the 2 in the back door? thanks for any help folks.

have you checked the voltage on the speaker wire just to see if any signal is goin back to them

nah i havent....havent really thought about it to tell u the truth...but i can see where that would make sense...i cant understand why they wouldnt be getting signal though..nearly all gm's from 88 use the same harnesses..you would think that the rear doors would be tied into the factory harness...?

yea but any sudden jolt or anything voltage wise could have shot the wire or the speaker itself so you may end up havin to change the wire or the speakers

hold up if there are 2 speakers on 1 set of wires and they are 4 ohm speakers would that not make a 2 ohm load... does the premier have problems with that?

not that i know of...as far as i know it will handle a 2 ohm load....

did ur truck come with the second radio for the back seats??? on the center concole between the front seats???? if so u need a second harness called a sven 4 made by perphral

there are some years that the speakers in the rear doors are on a seperate amp. you will have to hard wire the speakers to the radio.

nah havent had time to mess with it...been working too damn much lol..i drive it maybe 1-2 days a week....company truck mostly..ill let yall know
