my friend has a 88 mazda rx7 the left side of the stereo comes on and off when ya go over bumps , this is an intergrated sysstem casset and disc and on board amps to the subs in the doors i tryied pulling the unit to get a look it is a factory pioner all ya have to do is touch the out side of the radio and it goes on / off can any one help?

you can replace it, or send it in for service if it truly is in the radio it's self. I'd be checking for an intermittent contact at the speaker connections in the door and at the radio it's self.

i have done this last night it seams to be internal , im looking at some double din head units, should they work ? any suggestions on how to bypass the sub amps in the doors ?
