Hi I just baught a Rockford Punch250a2. As soon as i get some more cash i will be buying 2 subs. I'm thinking 2 12"s because they will be tighter than 15's and 10's would be too small. I'm considering RF XLC's and JL W3. Here's some comparisons:
JL=dvc RF=svc
JL=250watts RF=200watts
I like the fact that the W3's have dual voice coils and there supposed to have huge excurton (sp) capabilites. From specs the W3's look to be a better sub than the XLC's, but i also think the W3 is slightly more expensive. What are your thaughts on thees subs with my punch250a2?

I've seen a pair of 12w3's in a corsica around here. Those things do have a large excursion!!

I couldn't believe that those subs were moving that much!! Kinda makes me wish I had gone with jl before!!

Is the RF Punch DVC not more in the same price range as the W3. Was last time I looked...
Both are great woofers, but I like paper....

W3 is soooooo much better, it would be better to compare the w3's with the RF DVC's thatn the xlc's.

IMO from what i have read the w3's are very very very nice. If i had the money i would get them. But since i dont... i cant. But get them and you will be very happy you did.
I have heard two 12w0's and they fucking pounded.

I love JL subs, but I would have to go with Rockford, paper is a little louder than polypropelene, and hold more power.
