I am thinking of 1 9515 to start out with, maybe adding another later. I was playing wiht box dimensions and came up with a box being 30x24x12 which is 5 cubes, slot port with dimensions of 12x5x20 tuned to 35 hz, my question is, with my modded mmats amp, should i expect high numbers out of one 9515 or should i go with 2 3515's and 10 cubes??? the only problem I see with this is that I might upgrade to another 9515 later if I get it. Well, hit me up with your opinions

stick with the 9515 just incase u wanna upgrade later plus its a more reliable sub because it can take a buttload more power and besides its more efficent.

cant wait for mine to come in tommarow.... the first thing im doing is getting film!

ill tell u guys how it sounds!

I would sayto get the 2 3515s and make sure to wear earplugs because your Mmatts amp will definately make thempound, especially in a truck.Bass on.

yes, i am leaning towards the 9515's because of the upgrade factor, but will 5 cubes be enough for 1????

yea, loyd has the 3515's (which you already knew) and is kickin ass with them, i could only imagine what mine is gonna be like, but i am not sure that 5 cubes will be enough for that much spl, i want total MAX spl out of it,i want to ring that sucker for every last drop :0)

there is no way the 9515 will outperform a pair of 3515's with that amp Seth...

i would go the 9515 for upgrade reasons as well as, it's nice to show people what you can do with one sub

does anyone know what size/port area of the box used to hit 170 with one of these? i'm awfully curious..
