I would also like some information on these subwoofers if anybody knows any. Also, Audiobahn has a AW series sub (10" & 12") that have 1.75" rubber surrounds, chrome cast frames, 120 oz stacked magnets, with a coated paper cone instead of the spun aluminum cone that the ALUM series has. A dealer that I e-mailed said that they are definitely the loudest thing in their price class, but also have pretty good sound quality to go along with all their SPL. I have found the AW series dirt cheap on the net. They look pretty tough (ALUM's look identical to Eclipse 8800's), and I'm almost tempted to try some with such low prices.

I'm very impressed with Audiobahn so far for thew price.. I may throw some of it in my next ride and see how it does. Their polished amps are by far some of the coolest looking in the industry(even if they did "borrow" PG's look" and are good solid performers..

Kewl. What'd you pay for it, if you don't mind me asking? Are they on par with USAccoustics, Kenwood, Crossfire? Or are they more Profile? If they are more along the lines of RF at the prices I've seen, might have to give them some serious consideration for the Mrs. ub car and the (hopefully coming soon) "new" UB-Truck!!

UB, I finally gave in to temptation and ordered 3 AW1000's today...they just look so damn tough for such a low price that I couldn't pass them up! Plus, from the information I've gotten with the dealer I corresponded with, these things are super loud with good sound q to boot. I will definitely let you guys know how they sound and pound when I get them and get a good box for them. I'm hoping that they are one of those diamonds in the rough that nobody gives a chance to and they end up being excellent subwoofers. From the stories connected to the link I provided a few messages above, it looks like there are already some people winning both sound q and SPL comps using Audiobahn's equipment...I think they have a real good chance of being a great product for a smack-yourself-on-the-forehead-in-disbelief price (at least the prices I've seen on the net!).
