My God! Are there any diagrams or remedial sketches available for this box for the ones who are still greatly intrigued? Or maybe pics of ones' whose are in the process of or already built so we can see "The Life of an ABC"? That would make a great Discovery Channel show... Here we are in rural someplace, where we are going to observe the day to day behavior of... a sub enclosure. Hell, that could be just the thing that would start making $$ for Dukk on this box again.
Or late-night infomercials... hmmmm

Nice to see you're still keeping an eye on this one, Dukk...it'll probably get mentioned in your obituary 50 years from now, after the 10,000th post in the thread....
Oh yeah, back to the top...
Long live the thread....

OK Dukk, I am taking my 12" Pioneer and building a new ABC house box for it what would be a good size and port length for it? I now have the one I used in my car being pushed by the Parts Express 250watt class D amp and it sounds ok, but I would like it to go deeper. ANY suggestions. BTW the amp is putting out roughly 38 volts AC, I need to re test it though.

"u think this box would give 8 focal 5ws (5" subs) the best SQ and depth as opposed to sealed or ported?"
No. It is not the 'best' SQ box - but sounds decent. What the hell you want to use those for anyway? Got a lot of money to waste? Put a pair in the door and drop a 12 in the trunk!
XLC12? 3cuft is pushing the max. Excellent if you have under 300 watts. With over 250watts or so I would slide the size back to about 2.5cuft total.
