OK guys, I have read the whole thread, and I intend to build one of these boxes this weekend. I understand everything, but I do not know how to calculate what airspace I need overall, and the sizes for the ports. I have 2 fosgate rfp44210. Here is the specs I think are needed. FS(hz)-29 VAS-1.10 cubic feet qts-0.53

That's an ABC Box in detail. That's how a ABC Box works. 2/3 on one side 1/3 on the other. The size of the box can be as big as you want. You can use 5-7ft if you want.

What would be the toal cubic size of a abc enclosure for a 15" Power HX2. Here are the specs: fs: 22 Hz VAS: 4.45 CUBIC FT X-MAX: .74 3.5 cubic box is recommended from the manufacturer.I want it tuned to 29 Hz.

For the 15" L7 I would recommend 4.5cuft total net, so 3cuft and 1cuft. Overall tuning to 30hz should make you fill your shorts
For the 15" HX2 I would shrink it to 4cuft max as IMO it is no where near as tolerant to volume as the L7.
