Hello everyone. I"m rebuilding for next year. I'll be running 4 crossfire 1000Ds in my crx, not sure as to what Subs I will be using though. Thats the problem I have, I need to know what subs to use with that amount of power. I'll be using the Clarion 9575 for my head unit. I need all the suggestions possible, i've got roughly 15 cubes to work with in a flat wall in my crx.

Hey how about running 3 18w6's? You can bridge 2 of the 1000d's to one set of voice coils and the other set of amps to the other set of voice coils. I think you could put up some very large #'s with this setup.

i cant think of any worse reccomendation.... youd get a single 18 outpounding the others by probably at least 3 Dbs.... totally screwing everything up
do 4 12s or 15s
i would do something different... screw JLW6s.. who hasnt seen them.. everyone has.. do something unusual man.
dont flame me, cause i dont know much about them, but what about those earthquake magma or balls subs? havent seen many of them done... is there a good reason for this though
be different in whatever you do.. hell, anymore, i dont even look at systems with JL subs.. cause it just doesnt strike anything within me at all... its like, look... JL again
yay

Hey sorry for giving an honest suggestion. I just thought it would be different, because not a lot of competitor use JL, that I've seen, where I'm from. How about 4 HCCA 15's? That oughta put up some decent #'s. Hey Griz, can you give me some info on those Treo's?

I say go with the HCCA subs. I am very impressed with those subs. Also have you seen the new Generation X subs from Hifonics, massive magnet. I can't wait to hear them. I think those are the ones Steve Cook are running.

Devastator... call TREO Engineering at 800 530 5925. They may have the lit done for them. Be patient though, these guys are taking their time to get things right the first time. These subs are impressive!!! Can't wait till they get into full blown out mass production.
