I am about to buy a single 15 inch sub to run off a new crossfire 1000d amp 1100@1ohm. I want to get a DD9515 but its slightly out of my budget. So I have decided on either a digital designs 9015 or an orion hcca 15. I can get either for about the same price. Which would be a better speaker to use? I plan on runng either in a 4.5 cube ported box.

Well I have seen a few system with them subs and over all the install seems to be the key in addition to just the sub. I dont use the DD but I know someone that does and said he needed a ton of power to REALLY get going. I know that a hcca 15 in roughly that size box can get 150+db But I am sure the other brands can also. I am willing to get it will come down to install over sub. Just make sure you have a sub sonic xover on that that HCCA.
