What do all of you think of the Autotek amps. The big ones. I have read good things
but the ratings on the Autotek web page are low, but on sales sites they are rated
much higher. Just wondering what these amps actually put out.

Also if anyone can recommend a good amp for 2 ALUM 12's that would be great.
These are rated for 1000W RMS and have dual 3 ohm VCs. I want to try to stay
under 500 right now for the amp.

What is the model# of the Autotek amp you are referring to? I have 3 HC250MXi and I am very pleased with them. Not alot of people use Autotek but I like to be different.

I was looking at a 4100-XI Bridged to two channels doing 2000w. This is what i have been told it will do. But by the specs off the autotek site it says it should only do about 200. They have told me it is a cheater amp but 1800 watts is alot of cheat. Also considering 2 800-xi or amx 100.2

The 100.2 is the newer version of the Hc250mxi. It's only rated to do about 800 watts at 12v but at 14v they put out about 1100 watts or so. I would suggest (2)100.2 because they are alot of bang for the buck and I've never heard of any problems with Autotek products but I could be wrong.

Autotek is a great value for the money. I have used alot of there older stuff and it rocked. Never burnt up or got hot enough to shut down. The newer stuff is just as good.
