Do coaxial drivers require a set number for airspace? Can i add a 6 1/2" coaxial in a kickpannel without makeing a custom pannel for it?

A coaxial doesn't require anymore airspace than any other 6 1/2 inch driver. The tweeter doesn't need any airspace.

2 10's going for 150+

I would try to get hold of the manufacturer and see if they have t/s specs on the drivers. Then see if your enclosure is close or not...

STILL waiting to hear a GOOD pair of HLCD's!!

If it dont fit, force it... if it breaks, it needed to be replaced anyway...

Well, considering its a radio shack speaker, i dont think they have t/s specs. I wish they would include them in the packageing. It would definately help a bunch!

it all depends on the backing behind the 6.5's.i had my fronts in the door and they sounded horable, so i built small pods for my kick panels. they sounded so much richer. also a few years ago a friend of mine had a pair of 6.5" alpines in toyota extended cab and they kicked hard, sounded more like small sub. at the same time i had the same speakers in the back window of an 86 z24 and you couldnt get any deepness or anything to sound good through them except very high highs.
