alright, this is in relation to another post
basically, i have 4 eight inch subs in a sealed SINGLE chamber box.... someone told me not to run them in series that i would get weird sounds... they told me to wire each set in parallel, and run the amp in stereo... my question is this... doesnt stereo signal in a shared encloure make bad things happen as well.

looks to me like i need me a diff. box, yesno?

You will have to modify your box slightly inorder for sterio to work. Basically in mono all your subs receve the same signal so they play the same notes. In sterio your subs wont be playing exactally the same notes due to the fact that your music moves from back and forth between your left and right speakers. Mono is generally fine for bass because it normally comes from both sides innayways. If you go sterio you should nottice a slight SQ improvement. You could either build a new box with 2 chambers or just modify your existing box by putting in a divider. If your box is sealed the space taken up by the divider should'nt cause any problems. If your box is ported the change in volume may affect your tuning frequency slightly but the change will be so small you shouldnt nottice any differance. I would reccomend going sterio inorder because of sound quality improvements.

Dude, I would use a "y" adapter off one channel of your crossover and run each channel off of it. This way you dont have to worry about separating chambers and all that crap.

STILL waiting to hear a GOOD pair of HLCD's!!

If it dont fit, force it... if it breaks, it needed to be replaced anyway...
