i was thinking about a totally sealed two chamber per sub enclosure.
this is how it would work, one "box" of the enclosure could be devoted to one sub. each "box" could be seperated into two chambers. the sub would be mounted between these two compartments, the cone in one side, the rest in the other. everything would be sealed, and the compartments could be de-pressurized.
an enclosure could consist of as many "boxes" as someone wanted. the reason for the depressurization would be to allow longer travel, i think lower tones? would this work, am i re-inventing the wheel?

Im not quite sure what you are talking about, but if there is no air to dampen the woofer it will blow very quickly. Also, if there is no air for the woofers to move, there can be no sound. If anyone sees how this can work please let me know.
How about this, since sound is louder underwater and travels futher, how about filling the car with water when running through the lanes? Just make sure to waterproof the mic.
