im picking these up but have no idea about them, the guy doent either. there dual coil looks like 3 inch. price seems right just going to add them to my collection. heres the link please help me out

i love shocker subs. very loud. yes they r 3 inch coils. they look to be either the shocker xtreme or super. good price and good find.

Pretty sure they are extremes supers always had the wooden riser between the basket and magnet

Look like Supers to me as well...

I think the only thing "smaller" than Supers were the SS and these are definitely not SS.

Its kind of tough for me to tell from the pictures but I don't think their the supers. The supers had a triple stack magnet if I remember correctly. Those are either the extremes or the shocker 3's. Either way, still a good deal.

ok i just wanted to make sure they wernt the ss's. ive never seen those. you guys know what the power ratings is on these. he says 4000 but idk about that. id like to run my us amps vlx 400 on them but dont want to hurt them

Those are extremes. There were 3 smaller subs than a super. Extreme, mini extreme, and ss.

Diff between super and extreme is double stack vs tripple stack. Also the super DID NOT always have wood.

Maybe 4 smaller if you consider the shocker 3 a smaller sub.

Shocker mike will rate it at 1000rms but I know we were throwing 1500-1800 actual watts(not rated) to each daily.

Depends on if its stock spiders or more.

ok cool im starting to get worried he didnt answer his phone or call me back. i hope he didnt sell them out from under me that would suck. i havnt seen shockers pop up around here since 2001 they would look real nice in my audio room lol

Ok well the double stacked super was a 1.5" slug and a .75" slug. The tripple was 3 .75" slugs. So technically it came in 2 slug.

To the naked eye. But there are a few differences from the stock tc-9. Extreme is moar louder.

my dad has some xtreme motors and a super motor. and also a working pair of shocker sigs. great subs. mike is still around at time. he has a big family and has fallin out of the speaker biz.
