ok i stuck this in the wrong section at first. but after advise.

im building an extreme car. its my first attempt at doing one. i have only ever built cars for Street max and Superstreet using a convential wall in little htchback cars. after 4 years i have decided i want to step up and play with something more serious.

what i need help and advise with is what size i should make my subs enclosure. below is a picture of roughly how i am proposing to build the car inside.
its not the greatest pic in the world but i hope it sort of explains what im going to be doing.

-Basically its a standard enclosure with port on the drivers side.
-then in front of the baffle about 14inches will be the loading wall roughly the same size as the baffle. the area in front of the baffle or the front chamber will be about 17 cube.
-then on the drivers side of the centre console will act as the second port along with the loading walls opening also.
-passenger side of the car will be as small as its allowed to be made while staying within the extreme rules, thus making it the cabin area so to speak.

hope the picture explains it a little as im not the greatest at drawing designs.

subs to be used are 4x 15'' RE MT's with around 30,000wrms of power.

any help would be very much appreciated

cheers billy

You've been snobbed billy!

Since nobody help's the "nobody's" here, just look up "subwoofer simulator", its like bass box but it'll do 6th and 8th orders, exactly what you need.

Scour the builds in the Euro section for idea's, plenty of EXT builds there. And picsorban

Good luck trying to get any real help on here from any top competitors. They are either too busy, too drunk or a little of both. Lol. I'm just finishing up my first extreme 1 build and let me say, I have skimped on alot and I still have added over 1500lbs to the car, concrete, mdf etc. I will be adding more amps, batts and miles of 1/0.

Make the box as big as possible. I designed my setup around the 1/4 wave theory. Which means...

btw what car is this going in?

I'm pretty sure he was talking about a volvo (240) on an aussie forum...

Port should be on the opposite side should'nt it, with the subs just tucked behind the loading wall?

Make a topic in the "European and rest of the world forum".

By the look at your pic the wooferbox look big, you want the front to be big.
