for general listening purposes..no competition stuff for this...how about 2 - 12's, with one in a sealed enclosure and one in a ported enclosure...would this even sound any good? thoughts...?

put them in the same enclosure, or identical enclosures

i figured that would be the case, since i've never seen it done...but is it sonically bad to listen to? and why?

I have two 12's sealed and two 10's ported in my work van, I find that the sealed box carries the frequencies that the port doesnt and sounds really full for music.
