I'm not doubting anything you say man, but for you trying to bash JD by saying Fi told him he couldn't use the baskets...you don't know all the details

I'm not even claiming that I know all the details either...but I do believe that each basket size was patented individually?

Again its totally heresy but its just what I had been told, JD is actually a decent guy just hate to see him get bashed on (unless its by me lol)

There are two TI patents. #1 for a 4 spoke basket that covers the 10" & 12". #2 patent is for the 6 spoke that covers 15" and 18". Fi from my understanding co-owns the #2 patent now.

pics of new tsns "machine"? i am fascinated by new spl woofers and the technology they use. i am glad to see a company push the limits on current tech. to me the only manufacturer that can compete with t3 is atomic and they have apxx 18s ready to go. and i dont see any proof that this tsns is any better. please just make a video and plug one of the beasts into a 220 wall socket. the atomic can handle this with a smile

yup from what i know FI/Crossfire own the pat on the 15 & 18 basket. anybody can buy the baskets but they cant be sold as a complete sub out of the usa without FI/Crossfire allowing it.

i dont wish anything bad for JD eather. i have 0 issues with nobody. just wish there wasnt all the hipe of products that nobody ever sees. if ur protyping show pix of protypes dont just claim this and that that is why people attack him.

Not true, Thilo still owns the tooling on those baskets. It's a closed tooling. If people are still getting those baskets the vendor is in the wrong.

Well, that is not my job.

But, I think it is best if someone is going to claim that they have knowledge of a event or circumstance, to atleast know the facts.

Not an arguement, just a comment on a observation.

mr t3 why do you ignore every single post except the one where someone says something about patents and such. you wont even directly respond to my questions or post any vid or a link to any pics. the only reason i started posting was to see a bad ass sub instead of just hearing about it. you are making yourself look bad by responding so promptly to b.s. and leaving the ones with valid question hanging

Um, dude..

Go back to page 1.

better yet I will quote it for you again.

Quote from JD on pg 1.---------------
We will post up pics very soon....
Just want a few finishing toolings to be done so it is complete. It will be worth the wait.... I am very proud of what we are doing....

Thanks!
----------------------------------------

He also stated above that they wont be ready till the end of November.

We will have a press release when they are ready.

But we are not releasing anything until they are ready.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Let me help you out alitle then.. Thilo still owns the tooling that he paid for.. I know there is more then one vendor and more then one set of toolings for that basket.. Another company has tooled the same basket since its only a US patent and they do no sales here. So its legal for them to do so.
