I'm building my enclosure and want to know would it be best to have it fire into the cabin or into the trunk? The thing is my seats don't fold down. I was going to angle the seat to give me about 4" of space if I was to fire into the cabin. I now know porting is better but, what would be louder? I also have a concern with a port. The subs I'm using recommend sealed but also have the specs for ported. I'll check with the manufacture but dose anybody have experience with the TSW5102SPL or TSW8102SPL? I've got the 8102 but I'm thinking of changing to the 5102 for space.

I'd fire into the trunk and remove your 6x9's for porting.

Forward firing only works when its sealed off from the trunk( no air can get back in) and with the seats down.
