I'm looking for some deep bass and i'm not really concerned with spl numbers, just percieved loudness for daily driving. I have a crew cab and want to put in 2 ported 15", I was looking for peoples opinions on the "FI - SSD" or the "American Bass VFL 15" they are both similarly priced and have about the same power handling. I can give each woofer 4cu.ft. Thanks

I was also considering 4 12" cerwin vega V-max, so out of the 3 options which do you think would work out best? Any other ideas are greatly appreciated. Thanks again

I have two of the Vmax's(newest model)...they don't compare to either of those subs

Yeah I was thinking the same, but I thought if I divided up my power (~3000 watts) to 4 subs and increased my cone area I might be happier with the output. Does that seem logical or would I be better off with one of the 2 15" setups? Thanks

i'd go for the 2-15's setup of the better subs. I had a 3kW on two of the Vmax12"s. I'll be warranty-ing them tomorrow.

Ok that sounds good to me, do you think to FI SSD and the AB VFL can handle the 1500 watts for short periods of time? Also do you have a preference between the 2 subs or is there another 15" in about the same price that you would use instead (i havn't bought subs in over 10 years)
