Im getting ready to paint my box, I've never painted one, and was wondering the best way. I have heard to resin then paint, and I've also seen people mix in dye with the resin. Any other suggestions would be great!

Automotive paint and ready to shoot clear coat will give you the best finish with out having to sand it down.

You will need to use a primer so the wood does not soak up all of the paint.
