ok so i'm looking to build a daily/bassrace box for 2 RD alpha 12s. i've been told they are good in very small boxes but i figured i should double check with the guys on here. i have 17"H X36"W X 30"D to work with so i have a ton of space to work with. i'm looking to get it to play from the mid to low 30 right up to high 50s or higher.. anyone got some suggestions?

I'd say around 3.5-4 cuft after displacements and 2 4" aeroports per sub. I don't like slot ports myself and I will always reccomend a round port in a street setup. Just cut the port length to your liking, but I can tell you at 4 cubes and 4 4" ports at full length will tune you to 40hz. So if you want to go lower either shrink down the box, or make the ports longer. Good luck.
