ive been into car audio a long time and i am swallowin my pride on this one. (i am mecp certified) but for the life of me i cant remember how to figure box volume. im tryin to build a 5 cube box plus the port for 2 12 in L7s. the port needs to be 5 inch by 13.25 by 16.5 long. help please have a comp in two weeks.

How could you possibly claim to be an installer and not know 1728, god there are allot of ****in posers on the site nowadays...

height x length x width.(in inches)...
then divide by 1728(which is 12x12x12) to turn cubic inches into cubic feet...

and kickers recommended boxes usually work great for daily music. sub displacement is accounted for already. But you have to add the port and bracing displacement volume. so you'll probably have to build about 5.7cf to have a "5cf box"+port
