I was also thinking about passive . might help with my limited port surface area. i couldn't find any that size . where did you find them and are they tuneable? ( with the weights )

it's Boston Acoustic tunable passive radiator (with weights).
can buy them in this size or one size bigger.

Since you need more tuning lenght out of the port looks like you'll need to mount the port further on the inside of the box. Nice score. Did more sound deadening help?

so looks like the therory of one large port doesnt work in some vehicles versus having multiple to help slow wave down with multiple tuning of waves and sphasing ,nice keep up the great work .

Keep in mind that it probably wasn't as loud because it was to big and you couldn't make the port long enough to tune it. If it was an 10" try a 9". You'll save about 3-4" of port length.

we tried the 9" port. it was only a few tenth apart, i think b/c the port tune was made out of sonotube and was too flexible.
we gonna try a new box with a big port firing back and 2 subs firing up.
