So I was gonna build a Box for 4 JL 12W1-4's for my ford crown vic when i came acroos a lil problem since this is my first build.I thank D-Bass for helpin me out he did all the math and said i need a box with 9.65cf net, with two 6" aeroports about 15"long. I was wonderin for some more ideas or suggestions for this box im new to using google sketchup but heres a rough sketch of the box i wanna build Also should each woofer have its own chamber??? If yea would i have to use a port for each chamber  -

yes u would have to port every chamber if you were to make each sub have thier own.

if you're running them off one or two amps, i would do either single chamber, or two chambers...but not four. either way...make sure the box has some good bracing since you have some long panels, and some long and wide panels.

ok i had a question what ways can I brace it ive been researchin and I found 2 ways a shelf brace and cross brace wats the diffrence and for the shelf brace does it matter how big the holes are on the brace?

figure out which you think will make it strongest, without restricting airflow too much.

sometimes just threaded rod or 1" wooden dowels
