They are rated at 1500 RMS. I put 2 500.1's at full tilt to them a few times for 30 seconds of music.

I have a treo 2000.1 on the APX 12 and it wants more power, and a bigger box. a while back I borrowed a soundstream xxx6500 on my apx 18 did bass race with it a few times. I tried 2 xxx6500's but not enough battery's...

Would surprise me , but if it is , with the right coils in it , sure it can handle +3 - 5K in bass race . Just put the right coils in regards OD

lol yes i agree with Demuth. i've run apx 18's 15's and apxx 15's and the coils are very durable but they are pretty inefficient especially the xx's but i like durable subs. i'd recommend 4-5k like stany said. i have only 2.5k on each of my xx's and they barely break a sweat.

Well , regards i read you would recone them with FI parts , nothing bad about that if you like to go that way , just be sure the OD of the coil is made for that motornumber , to get all energy and strenght where its designed for .
