what about the power hx2 rf it has a 4 in coil and is a sweet sq sub.

but not All 4" coils are 2 or 4 layer coils ... [Smile]

It all depends on how its builded up ,
and yes 4" coils can get loud to ..

Even if it's an 8 layer 4" coil - it will not be louder and/or take power better than a 3" coil. What's louder or can handle more if you can't get them together......

It will happen, its only a matter of time.

Not like the mud magnet is bad or anything it would just be so much better with proper steel and neo.

cactus had in his SS1-2 terra 2 weeks ago
20kw on 1 coil
he only used 1 off the 2 coils due to wrong impedance

i think its pretty impressive for a 4" coil to take that
