I have read a lot about these on here but have no real experience with them. I have a box, 2.5 @ 38 htx I am thinking about trying a TSS 10 in. I have not picked up an amp yet but will probably do 1500 watts or so.

My last setup was an AQ hd12 on 1100 watts.

How will the TSS compare to the AQ? I know it is smaller, but it looks like a nicer sub.

I know it might not mean much, but i did a direct swap from a TSS 15" with 3kw, to a 15" AQ HDC with a custom recone with the same power..The TSS beat it hands down

Quite a few of my Team Sundown guys run T3 TSS woofers in conjunction with their amps with very good results.

People know that some retuning need to be done. with a sub swap depending on volof the sub. The other thing was i was there at Buffalo when this was done and the sub you tried was not broken in yet and if im right was a different coil configuration. and had tims spider configuration.

I would go with the aq sub. I here re cones will be hard to get Jd sead to me he is going to a custom coil. I would go with a sub that you can use a coil from a wide variety of places.

Not a coil that is only avable from one company.

I think it was the same coil config, but I have no idea about the rest. Tim just came over, said he build a sub the night before and asked if i wanted to have fun with it
