Ok, im new here and after trolling the threads couldnt find what i was after.

I own a 1992 Nissan Pintara (U12)

current SPL set up is SUper Street No Wall
4x 1500rms (@1ohm) Mono's strapped in pairs for 3krms output
2x Kicker L715" dual 4ohm subs
9cubic foot box

Currently its putting out 150.4db off 16v

Australian Record is sitting on 155db.

What power will the L7's take to get me close to that score?

thinking of dropping an SPL Dynamics D14 onto them (17200rms)

but dont want to if it will kill them.

that much power would certainly have the potential to blow them.
More so than the power being an issue, I'd worry that the suspension on them would get soft WAY to fast to be worth it.

soloX isn't made in a 15", and 18" may not fit below the windowline in his no-wall nissan

dont have the $$ to buy new gear.

Australian Finals were held a few hours before World Finals.

by box was deemed to be 2mm above window line and put me up into SS1-2 - i overlooked the curve at the front of my front windows...

accepted my fate and put up a 150.4

ended up 2008 Australian Champion after getting 1st place.... somehow lol
