Sry to hear that about your sub. What I do when i do bosex like that i put a couple of screws into the car and a front baffle that covers the screws. If you don't have an alarm invest (pager) there fairly cheap now with a 1 mile (rated) range.

The RFL is actually 17". So with a new 15" sub you would have to build a new baffle in that box with a smaller hole.
Or you can cut the hole slightly larger and get an 18"

So limited it was non existent.

It was only used in one vehicle. The MTX tracker. They used it as a prototype sub for testing only. It was never sold or even intended for sale.
The design from that sub led to the 15" RFL that was actually available and the 9500.

I would be careful buying thing online but I know a lot of people do it just not all of them are happy with the end result but with 300 dollars see if you can find a cadence zrs15 on ebay those are very good subs and Im very familiar with their amps and subs and they are very underrated and very high qualityyou could probally about 1500- 2000 rms on that sub daily depending on how clean your amp is and the type of encloser you have but you would be better going with that than any of the kicker or rockford series subs and even some of the re subs the specs are on there website and if you need to know more about them talk to jason on the forums their website is www.cadencesound.com

The 10" in the tracker was being used more than 1 year before the 15" was debuted.

If there was a 10" that came out after the RFL then it was kept pretty secret seeing as how I was with Team Thunderforce at that time and never saw anything about it.

I had pics of the old ones that I cant find right now. I wonder if it looks like what you are talking about.
It had a red basket and chrome bolts on the outer perimeter of the magnet slugs, these held the top and bottom plate together. I believe it was a 12 spoke basket. Black cone and surround bit a standard type phat surround and black dust cap. No MTX markings or model numbers anywhere.

There was also a prototype 10" 9500 that had a red basket.
