I can tell you I had some in 06 that would handle several burps at 190v, and the last ones I bought last year wouldnt hold 120v without exploding coils. I bought 8 recones, blew 6 before drag finals basically first burp on each. Built the last two and did some major low volume testing and took it to MECA finals. Hurt one sub at 150v in my qualifying pass and dropped the other at 175 in main runs. Not the same coils I dont care what anyone says.
Now back in 06, damn nice sub within its limits. Probably still is with 10k or under.

Things (parts, product direction, quality ) changed when RE audio (Resonant Engineering) was sold by Scott. Then last June, all RE employees were dismissed, except Mark, when they closed RE and stooped US production of woofers. It was Ryan and and especially David that use to build woofers, build all recones and recone drivers at shows. No one is left of the original RE Audio crew.
