that's a 7" on the 13's and it will be a 5.5" on the 12". I posted a bunch of pictures of this sub a couple days after it was released. 12"s won't be out until next year.

talked to a guy with 4 1508 DDs ported who sold them to switch to 2 13.5w5s after he heard them.. he has them installed but yet to get it meter'd he's a member of ca.com so maybe ask over there... he said it was louder on ear than his 4 1508s which I believe were 140s new TL... but not sure exactly if not it could only of been the install as those subs are well capable of 150 with 4 of them... Lou_CRX does 152-55iirc with 3 of them in bass boxing or bass race or some music thing... possibly USACI so could very well be in the kick doors open. but I know the old DD Taco could do 55s legal TL with 4 on music on a single Z2 amp... so I'd imagine high 30's in the 30hz region for it to SOUND louder than some 140+ setup around 40hz...

one of my installers did two of these under the back seat of a hummer SUT. Did pretty decent. Single JL 1000/1v2, I'd estimate it to be 140dB. Mind you these are underneath a seat, firing up. I was impressed on the amount of sound in the space available.

yes, it was sealed...but they are NOT recommended for ported boxes. probably no warranty if used in a ported box, just guessing. i might have to ask our rep.
Basically, you get the output of a 13w3v3 sealed, but can fit it more places.

that ficture isnt set up very good but for a 1 time run. it will take to long to change out each basket. plus the 1-2-3 blocks will move and get a chance to get chips under with each part change. must be a protype in the making.
