2 15" ported T3 TSS would be a good choice. It would potentially be louder than 3 15"s sealed.
Can you guarantee that statement?

Thats why I said potentially.
If designed correctly, the ported enclosure would be louder.
If I built the ported box, I can get it louder than the sealed box.

2 reasons
1. T3 TSS work much better in ported boxes because of their EBP.
2. A properly designed ported box has the highest SPL potential in a non-extreme vehicle.

I think you could make that statement about any of the brands named in this thread.

Could be true but I only have experience with the TSS so I do know how they operate in ported vs sealed enclosures.

T3 was at the top of my list on the next subs I was going to own, but I then ran into the Sundown Nightshades and fell in love with them. They're very similar to the RE MT's and the FI BTL's. Like it's been said before you can't really go wrong with any of them. Get what you can afford or get a good deal on.

Cant go wrong with the T3's I have very much enjoyed mine and have not blown yet. I say yet cause a modded stetsom 7kd will be cranked up on them at the next show to see what i can do. For street i have it tuned at 32hz and its insane makes my friends head hurt. Im currently running two T3 TSS 10's in about 4.25cf box on a earthquake phd 5000 till my stetsom gets back to me.
You do one TSS 15" in about a 3.25cf ported box you will be happy

It may damage something, well, poke somebody's eye out at the least.

i can say from running the T3 TSS's they are very good subs and i thru a SH*T load of power at them and they took it about 4K+ each i had a Memphis Mojo at 1 ohm on a 16volt system to each sub and they took it like a champ i wouldn't do it daily but they sure can handle it

LOL [Roll Eyes] Rumors are priceless.

We dont price via internet to protect our dealer base. Our business model is for T3 to be sold via stores, not internet. We do sell to competitors direct when called directly by phone.... as long as they are not a customer of our dealer base.

They are all good choices.

JD has been nothing but wonderful to me. I run a single TSS 15 off of a punch 150 25-life. I really beat the crap out of the woofer and it never fails.

If your gonna run ported i'd go with 2 BTL 15's. Sealed i'd do 4 Fi Q series.

I ran 2 Fi btl 15's loaded with 1 atomic 5000.1. Sounded great. Did a 149.1 at 30hz sealed on the dash. not to bad for a no wall box in my blazer.

Then i swapped the subs out with my apxx15's and wired the amp lower due to the xx's having way higher impedance rise then the btls and managed to break 150 at 30hz. Sound quality is not as good as Fi's though. but it is pretty violent.

--------------------
2 APXX 15's
1 Atomic 5000.1
Iraggi 300amp Alternator
5 batteries
150.1 at 30hz.
