So I haven't had a stereo in a car for 6-7 years.
I just picked up a Tahoe and it has an aftermarket CD player in it so maybe I'd put something together for it.
I have a few subs and amps that have been sitting in my basement collecting dust for years. I dunno if I'll use one of them or buy something else. Just looking for suggestions. I plan to run 1 or 2 12" subs if I decide to buy something, nothing special, just hoping for a decent budget SQ setup, maybe 1000 watts. Any ideas on what subs and/or amps to look at?
In case anyone is curious the stuff in my basement a few older Kicker L7's and a 15" Shocker II. Also have a RF 55.2 amp from 98 or so. I'm kind of leaning towards using the Shocker just because it's kind of nostalgic. If I choose to use it what type of box would it need? I haven't even seen it in years but I know it's down there in a closet.
Thanks
