my subs sound really good when volume is low but the ore you turn it up the more you can hear the bass sound more line the cone or a woody type of sound. how do i correct this???

Ethier you box is to big "giving to a hollow sound" or your subs are bottoming out

yeah...i agree...actually if you box is too big, not only will this make them sound hollow but also they will bottom out too soon even if the power is not too much...check the box size!
